We are so excited to bring you Ines Muzzopappa & Corina Herrera to San Francisco for a weekend of intensive learning.  Switch dancers, followers, and leaders, this is your chance to dive deep into your current role or the opposite role with these world-renowned teachers.

Thursday – Pre-milonga class at Malevaje
7:00-8:00pm   Simple figures for dancing Vals (Int) $30/person

Day 1  Friday: Techniques for both roles (All Levels)

WS1 7:00-8:30pm

– The relationship between my body and the ground
– Analyzing the different points of my base
– Normal mistakes that affect my corporal order
– How to work the pushing of the ground

WS2 8:45-10:15pm 

– Basic connections to create clear communication with your partner
– How to use the weight of the hip to get more stability
– Apply the previous elements in relation to the tango couple

Day 2 – Saturday: All about the Embrace (Int)

WS3 2:00-3:30pm

– Close embrace, finding spaces inside

WS4 3:45-5:15pm

– Using different positions (rolling/sliding) depending the situation that the movement needs

Day 3 – Sunday: Improvisation (Int/Adv)

WS5 2:00-3:30pm

– Opposites situations during our improvisation:
– Associated and disassociated leads

WS6 3:45-5:15pm

– Moving with spirals or blocking?
– Relaxing or blocking our joints 

Cost:

FULL PACKAGE: $210/person, $420/couple (6 WS – Fri, Sat & Sun)
PER DAY:  $80/person, $160/couple (2 WS – Fri / Sat / Sun)

* NO PARTNER NEEDED TO SIGN UP FOR WORKSHOPS! 

However, coming with a partner for the intensive learning experience is always preferred.
Their performance will be at a special Che! Milonga @ La Pista on May 4th
